On Wednesdays 2.15-4pm during school term times, the Lounge is host to a vibrant room full of seniors. Our afternoon programme aims to provide a time of friendship, relaxation and enjoyment, with the anticipation of listening to interesting speakers or watching a slide presentation of journeys afar or participating in a quiz, craft, or listening to musical entertainment.
If you are a senior, why not come along and make some new friends - we’d love to meet you! Come anytime after 2pm, enjoy a chat, a wide variety of activities, some spiritual input and a cup of tea. Each week we enjoy a short thought for the day, some much loved hymns and prayers alongside our different activities. Our banner flies the words ‘Love one another as I have loved you’ and our aim is to do just that.
